Cookies & local storage

We keep this to the minimum needed to run the store. Advertising cookies are used only if you accept them.

Strictly necessary

Shopify sets cookies that make your basket and its secure checkout work, and that protect against fraud and abuse. Without these you cannot complete a purchase.

This site also stores a few preferences in your browser rather than on a server: your chosen country and language, whether you have already seen the welcome message, the contents of your basket, and your customer-care chat conversations. These stay on your device and you can clear them at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics

We rely on the aggregated statistics Shopify provides as part of operating the store.

Marketing (Meta Pixel)

Only if you accept, we load the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. It records pages visited, products viewed, items added to the basket and checkouts started, together with technical data such as your device, browser and IP address, so we can measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. Meta may process this data as described in its own privacy policy. Your choice, its date and the notice version are stored on your device. If you reject or withdraw, the pixel does not load.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop checkout from working. Questions: support@vallentandco.com.

See our Privacy Policy for how personal data is handled.
